FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Measuring the gymnast

How do I measure the gymnast?

The main measurements are chest, waist, and hip. For the chest and hip, measure at the fullest part and for the waist, the narrowest. It is very, very important that special care is taken with the hip measurement. Our leotards are elastic, but if the hip is not measured correctly and the corresponding size is not chosen, it usually causes problems with folds in the skirt. In the case of choosing a bodysuit, it is more difficult for it to create any wrinkles.

What should I do if I am between 2 sizes?

The larger one, ALWAYS. Even if you are on the limit of 1 size, we recommend taking the next one; keep in mind that it is normal for measurements to increase by the time it is delivered and it is preferable for the leotard to last as long as possible.

CHOOSING LEOTARD OPTIONS

Can I request modifications such as removing a sleeve or changing a color?

No. Catalog leotards do not accept changes except for orders of more than 25 leotards

How long does my leotard take to arrive?

You have the option to choose delivery in 1, 2, 4, or 6 weeks with a surcharge in case you need it sooner. If you choose the option without decoration, we do not guarantee that it will arrive sooner; it is a guideline. If you need it to arrive sooner, choose the earliest delivery option. Otherwise, calculate that the delivery date is 8 weeks. We understand that there is a temptation to check the order status, but we appreciate the patience necessary to manufacture such a special garment for you, as we can dedicate all our energies to manufacturing.

Which decoration should I choose?

On each leotard, the amount of rhinestones applied to the one you see in the photo is indicated. It is possible that for some of them you have options that are no longer available, for example 800AB + 400 color + sew-on rhinestone. If you want it to look as similar as possible, choose an option that is close to this, such as 1000 rhinestones placed. There is no option to make it as you see it if it is not available.

What happens if I order the wrong size for my leotard?

In these cases, we have a major problem; we manufacture to order, so the option of exchanging it for another is not possible, as we do not hold stock due to the high possibility of customization.

Regarding this point, if you are reading this just after making the order, it is possible that we have not started on it yet; hurry and give us a call to change the size; it is best to reply to the order confirmation email so we can locate it quickly.

Regarding measurements, the most important is the hip; in this measurement, it ALWAYS has to have ease and be in its correct size; if not, the leotard will fit poorly, guaranteed.

I live in a place outside the EU or without VAT (example: Canary Islands). Who pays the import taxes?

In these cases, you are responsible for the costs of customs management and taxes. Normally the transport company will indicate the price to be paid. There are places where there is a minimum below which they do not charge taxes; inform yourself well to avoid surprises.

LEOTARD CARE

My leotard has a zipper ...

We love these leotards; they are usually requested when they have a high neck or a closed neck, but you must keep in mind that zippers are a wear-and-tear element and they do break. Take off the leotard very carefully; normally breakages occur when forcing the garment to take it off without help. Remember that if it breaks and we have to repair it, there is an additional cost that VINKOVA does not cover. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

Be careful with necks and leg openings

Our manufacturing uses a transparent thread; it has a very good aesthetic result, but it is a delicate thread, so BE CAREFUL WHEN PUTTING ON AND TAKING OFF THE LEOTARD. Ask your teammate for help; if you force it, you will surely break it.
In case of breakage, we recommend doing a few hand stitches; you can go to any workshop near where you live or we can manage it, but it has shipping and repair costs.

Do NOT get the fringes wet

When you wash the leotard, if it has fringes, do not get them wet; they will fray and be ruined.

Sew-on rhinestone

Sew-on rhinestones are not sewn; we use an adhesive that works very well, but with use, it is possible that they come off; if you think that in any area it will have more wear or you prefer peace of mind, we recommend sewing them.
