CONTACT
I suppose you might have a question, and we may have received it before, which is why we’ve compiled our "classics" here. Before contacting us, check if we can resolve your doubts in our frequently asked questions. If it's not here, you’re very creative with something that hasn’t happened before, so if you don’t find the answer, you can contact us at the end of the page via a call, email, or WhatsApp.
MEASURING THE GYMNAST
How do I measure the gymnast?
The main measurements are chest, waist, and hips. For the chest and hips, measure the fullest part, and for the waist, measure the narrowest part. It is extremely important to pay special attention to the hip measurement. Our leotards are stretchy, but if the hips are not measured correctly and the corresponding size is not chosen, it can cause issues with folds in the skirt. In the case of choosing a bodysuit, it’s more difficult for wrinkles to form.
What should I do if I'm undecided between two sizes?
Always choose the larger size. Even if you’re on the borderline of one size, we recommend going for the next one. Keep in mind that it’s normal for measurements to increase by the time the garment is delivered, and it’s preferable for the leotard to last as long as possible.
CHOOSING LEOTARD OPTIONS
Can I request modifications, like removing a sleeve or changing a color?
No. Catalog leotards do not accept modifications, except for orders of more than 25 leotards.
How long does it take for my leotard to arrive?
You have the option to choose delivery in 1, 2, 4, or 6 weeks with an additional fee if you need it sooner. If you choose the undecorated option, we do not guarantee early delivery; it is just an estimate. If you need it to arrive sooner, choose the fastest delivery option. Otherwise, the delivery time is approximately 8 weeks. We understand that it is tempting to check the order status, but we thank you for your patience, as this allows us to dedicate all our energy to producing such a special garment.
Which decoration should I choose?
Each leotard indicates the number of crystals applied to the one you see in the photo. It’s possible that some options may no longer be available, for example, 800AB + 400 colored + sew-on crystals. If you want it to be as close as possible, choose an option that’s similar, like 1000 applied crystals. There’s no option to make it exactly as you see it if it’s not available.
What happens if I order the wrong size leotard?
In these cases, we have a big problem. We produce on demand, so the option to exchange it for another is not possible, as we don’t keep stock due to the high level of customization.
For this point, if you’re reading this right after placing your order, it’s possible we haven’t started it yet. Hurry and get in touch to change the size; the best way is to reply to the order confirmation email so we can locate it quickly.
As for measurements, the most important one is the hip measurement. This measurement MUST always have enough room and be the correct size; otherwise, the leotard will not fit well, guaranteed.
I live in a place outside the EU or without VAT (e.g., Canary Islands). Who pays the import taxes?
In these cases, you are responsible for the customs handling fees and taxes. Usually, the transport company will let you know the amount to be paid. There are places where there’s a minimum threshold, and you won’t be charged taxes, so check carefully to avoid surprises.
LEOTARD CARE
My leotard has a zipper
We love these leotards; they are usually requested when they have a high or closed neckline, but keep in mind that zippers are a wear-and-tear element and can break. Remove the leotard very carefully, as tears usually happen when forcing the garment off without help. Remember that if it breaks and we need to repair it, there will be an extra charge that VINKOVA does not cover. PLEASE BE CAREFUL!
Be careful with the collars and panties
Our tailoring uses transparent thread, which has a great aesthetic result, but it’s a delicate thread, so BE CAREFUL WHEN PUTTING ON AND TAKING OFF THE LEOTARD. Ask your teammate for help; if you force it, you will surely tear it.
In case of a tear, we recommend hand-stitching it. You can go to any workshop near where you live, or we can handle it for you, but it involves shipping and repair costs.
Don’t wet the fringes
When washing the leotard, if it has fringes, don’t wet them—they will fray and deteriorate.
Sewing glass
The sew-on crystals are not sewn; we use an adhesive that works very well, but with use, they may come off. If you think any area will experience more wear or you want peace of mind, we recommend sewing them on.
