Three gymnasts wearing VINKOVA Turbo Fluor rhythmic gymnastics leotards in front of colourful paintings.

Turbo Fluor is our range of rhythmic gymnastics leotards in neon colours: our boldest and most popular line, with styles such as Isla, Leva and Luxor. They are sublimation-printed and made to order in our workshop in Pamplona, Spain. Choose the rhinestone level and production time, and the price updates instantly. For sizing, all we need are the gymnast's measurements.

Turbo Fluor is the VINKOVA range of rhythmic gymnastics leotards with the strongest colour intensity in our whole catalogue. Pure fluorescents — pink, coral, lime, orange, turquoise — that do not fade under stage lights and can be seen from the back row of the arena. It is our most recognisable line and, season after season, the most requested.

Why fluorescent reads differently on the carpet

This is not a matter of taste, it is physics. A fluorescent colour does not merely reflect the light it receives: it absorbs wavelengths the eye cannot see and returns them as visible light. Under arena lighting — and especially on camera — that produces a colour that looks lit from within, while a conventional tone goes flat.

In rhythmic gymnastics the effect is practical: the judge's eye and the camera track the movement better. A high throw, a fast pivot or an apparatus catch reads more clearly when the body separates from the background. It does not add score by itself, but it helps the routine be seen the way it was built.

Getting a true fluorescent: the technical challenge

Fluorescent is the hardest colour to print. In most conventional processes it comes out washed out, almost pastel, because fluorescent pigments are unstable and degrade with the heat of fixing. Our sublimation printing is calibrated specifically for these tones: the colour enters the fibre at its true intensity and stays there. That is why a Turbo Fluor does not crack, does not peel, and is still fluorescent after a full season of washing.

When to choose a Turbo Fluor

  • For competition, when you want the routine seen with maximum clarity.
  • For groups, where a shared colour makes five gymnasts read as a single figure from the stands.
  • For galas and displays, where photo and video matter as much as the live performance.

If you want something plainer for everyday use, see Essential; the full catalogue is in rhythmic gymnastics leotards.

Matching the apparatus to the leotard

A detail that separates teams who care about presentation: matching apparatus. We carry hoops, clubs, ribbons and ropes in coordinating colours, plus adhesive tapes to wrap the hoop in the exact shade of the leotard.

Sizes and personalisation

Full girls' and adult size range; chosen by height and torso length, not by age — guide in how to take the measurements. And if your club wants a Turbo Fluor with an exclusive design, we make it made to measure.

Frequently asked questions

Does fluorescent colour fade with washing?
Not if you wash it properly: by hand, cold water, neutral soap, inside out, dried flat. What kills a fluorescent is heat — tumble dryer, iron — and bleach, not use.

Can you compete in fluorescent colours?
Yes. Colour is not restricted; what federations regulate is design, coverage and sheer panels. Check your category's rules.

Is Turbo Fluor available in girls' sizes?
Yes, the whole range comes in children's sizes. See also leotards for girls.
