TRAINING CLOTHES
Designed to accompany you in every pivot, jump, and expression, our training clothes combine comfort, style, and freedom of movement so you can shine in every routine. 🤸🏼♀️✨
All VINKOVA rhythmic gymnastics clothing in one place: leotards, shorts, crop tops, bodysuits, thermal tops, leg warmers, back warmers, knee pads, toe shoes and kit-bag accessories. What a gymnast uses every week, from September to June.
What she needs for the season
If you are getting ready for the return to the club, this is the short list, in order of actual use:
- A training leotard, or shorts and crop top. This is the garment that racks up the hours. See leotards and training clothing.
- Toe shoes, to work on the carpet without friction burns and pivot cleanly.
- Leg warmers and a back warmer, for warm-up and waiting in cold arenas.
- Knee pads, if her category does a lot of floor work.
- A competition leotard, once there is an event ahead. It is not needed from day one.
Training and competition are two different wardrobes
Training clothing is bought to be worn out: washed two or three times a week, rubbed against the carpet, replaced when needed. Competition kit is bought to last: worn rarely, hand washed, stored in a cover. Mixing them is expensive — a crystal leotard worn daily loses rhinestones within a month — and it shows on competition day.
The training bag
What should always be in it: toe shoes, leg warmers, back warmer, a training band and the season's apparatus. We also carry pouches and tote bags to keep it organised, and apparatus covers so hoop and clubs do not knock together.
Frequently asked questions
When should the season's kit be bought?
Before competitions start. Gymnasts usually equip themselves four to six weeks before competing: in a season starting in September, August and September are the months to do it calmly.
Is there clothing for girls?
Yes, in full children's sizes: girls' clothing and leotards.
